Odisha Power Transmission Limited has issued a notification regarding to OPTCL Recruitment 2015 and inviting online application by all those eligible and interested candidates on main portal site at www.optcl.co.in so those who want to apply for said vacancies can submit their registration on or before last date of registration closing.

OPTCL was formed in 2004 as a power transmission unit and later in 2005 it was fully fictional as commercial sector. It has deemed transmission license and also one of the largest power transmissions body in the country which is fully regulated by state government of Odisha. Main HQ is situated in the capital of the state, Bhubaneswar and its power units and projects are expanded in all over the state.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years while maximum 32 years as on 1st January 2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per norms.
Education Qualification: Please refer official notification as for each and every post education criteria is different. Link to download notification is given below.
Selection Procedure: Selection of the qualified candidates will be done based on performance in CBT and career marking. CBT would have multiple choice questions and in order to qualify, candidates have to obtain minimum marks as mentioned below.
  • General & SEBC Candidates – 50%
  • SC,ST& PWD candidates – 40%
Application Fee: Rs.1500/- for General candidates while SC/ST/PWD (only Odisha state) are exempted from application fee. Payment can be done in both online as well offline mode.

  • Date of Publication of Advertisement: 22.06.2015.
  • Commencement of Online Registration: 24.06.2015, 11 A.M.
  • Closing Date of Online Registration: 23.07.2015, 7 P.M.
  • Date of Computer Based Test (CBT): 09.08.2015.
