Air force has issued its most awaited advertisement for entrance test
of AFCAT 2 2015 Notification and inviting AFCAT 2 Application Form on
main portal site at careerairforce.nic.in so read subsequent part of
this article to get familiar with most important information regarding
to AFCAT such as exam date, how to apply, education qualification, pay
scale etc.
According to notification,
right now application lines are opened which are accepting applications
by all those Indian male and female candidates in order to engage
eligible candidates to various branches through permanent or short
service commission. List of courses which are commencing in July 2016 is
given below and admission to it will be allotted via AFCAT.

AFCAT 2 2015 Eligibility and Education Qualification Details
Age Limit:
- Flying Branches: Min-20 Max-24
- Technical Branches: Min – 20 Max- 26
- Ground Duty Branches: Min – 20 Max- 26
Education Qualification:
Flying Branches (Male/Female): Aspirants must be a holder of any bachelor degree in any discipline.
Technical Branches (Male/Female): Interested candidates must be a holder of B.E/B.Tech Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering.
Ground Duty Branches: Candidates who want to apply for ground duty branches must be a holder of any degree described below.

| Administration & Logistics | Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate Degree / equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together. |
| Accounts | Graduate Degree in Commerce (B Com)(Minimum three year degree course) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (MCom) / CA/ ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together. |
| Education | Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together. |
Selection Procedure:
Applied candidates must have proved their ability and skills by pass
through all stages of selection conducted by authorities. First of all
those candidates who have applied will be called for AFCAT and EKT and
based on performance in it, they have to face second stage of selection
which comprised various methods mentioned are as follow.
- Flying Branches: Applicant must have to appear for CPSS (Computerised Pilot Selection System) along with PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test.
- Technical Branches: Candidates will have to face Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) followed by intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Test and Interview.
Pay Scale: Upon successful selection, allotted candidates will be able to get allowances with below scale of pay or salary.
- Flying Branch: – Rs.78,426/-
- Technical Branches: – Rs.67,926/-
- Ground Duty Branches: – Rs.64,926/-

How to apply AFCAT 2 ?
- Go to official site at www.careerairforce.nic.in and if you are existing user then login using “Candidate Login” tab. If you are new user then click on” New candidate”.
- Now complete all the five sections of online application and fill that form according to your qualification. After filling it upload your recent passport size photo along with scanned signature and thumb impression of yours.
- Submit filled application form and upon successful submission you will be provided an user name and password for future use.
